We train volunteer facilitators about grief and loss including facilitation skills. It is intensive four-day training with follow up support. The volunteer facilitators are the fieldworkers who run grief and loss support group sessions in schools.
Support group sessions are run quarterly during school time over a period of 10 sessions each cycle. Children share with others and get support.
Extra support: We also see to the school needs of children as most of them come from poverty stricken communities where their caregivers cannot even afford school uniforms and stationery.
Consultancy: We provide training to other NGO's who are interested to run grief group sessions in their own organisations. We consult with schools, social workers, parents regarding the emotional needs of learners. We speak up and advocate for children. We run workshops at conferences or at colleges and universities to promote the well being of children who are grieving.
